Born and raised in Jackson, MS, Paul Brown has been in the mortgage business for over 20 years. He has held nearly every position in the business on the origination side in his tenured career. Paul’s expertise and mortgage knowledge combined with his friendly approach has led to much success over the years as he continues to be one of the top producing mortgage originators in the state year after year. Paul founded Affordable Lending Group, LLC in 2011 with the goal of creating a company that could provide most importantly the best and most competitive rates, but also provide a lending environment where the customer comes first. Dedicated to his team of mortgage professionals and dedicated to his clients, Paul continues to serve families throughout the mid-south, as they pursue their dreams of homeownership. Paul graduated from Mississippi State University in 1999 and lives in Madison with his wife, Liz and their son, Will.

Born and raised in Jackson, MS, Ron Virden graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1994 with a Bachelor of Accountancy. His first job in 1994 was as a credit analyst which helped give him his vast knowledge in evaluating and helping improve clients credit. Ron has been in the mortgage business for over 20 years. He has held nearly every position in the business on the origination side in his tenured career. Ron’s expertise and mortgage knowledge combined with his friendly approach has led to much success over the years as he continues to be one of the top producing mortgage originators in the state year after year. Ron helped found Affordable Lending Group, LLC in 2011 with the goal of creating a company that could provide great service with the most competitive rates.  Dedicated to his team of mortgage professionals and dedicated to his clients, Ron continues to serve families throughout the mid-south, as they pursue their dreams of homeownership. 

After serving in the United States Army as a Combat and Flight Medic, Jarrod came back home to Mississippi where he now serves as a Lieutenant in the Air National Guard at the 172nd Air Wing. Jarrod is a Loan Officer and holds his certification from the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System. Prior to ALG and the military, Jarrod graduated for the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor’s degree in Administration and a Master’s in Business. He grew up in Byram, Mississippi and graduated from Terry High School. Drawing over 20 years’ experience in the Army and Air Force, Jarrod now focuses mainly on Veterans and helping them acquire VA Home Loans.

Born and raised in Jackson, MS, Jeremy brings over 20 years of experience in the mortgage business to ALG. Being very well-versed in FHA, VA, USDA, and Conventional loans, he has encountered just about every possible scenario that the mortgage business has to offer.

I have been employed as a mortgage banker for over 20 years. I live in Madison with my two kids Benton and Sara Powell. I am experienced in conventional, jumbo, VA, FHA, and USDA financing as well as first-time buyers. I really enjoy working with clients to achieve their mortgage needs and provide the best possible options for them.
